Drugstore Makeup : First Impression | Review | Demo

Hello beautiful people! If you’re following me on Instagram then you know that I posted an all drugstore makeup look on Youtube about a week ago. These were products that I had never used before (see below for video) and are putting them on for the very first time!

Today I’m letting you know my first impression thoughts and my updated review on each of the products! I’m also including affiliate links in case any of you want to order online. Lets do this!

Maybelline’s Fit Me Foundation – Dewy & Smooth.

First impression: I liked it. It had a semi-matte finish and it covered well. It had a really nice feel and I didn’t think I’d have to set it with a powder.

Update: I still like it, but I find that after a few hours I get a little oily and it doesn’t have a very longwer. So ever all I think its okay.

Maybelline Dream Lumi Touch Concealer

Impression: So this was actually not a new product to me. I’ve been using this highlighter/concealer for a long time now and I love it. It has a fair amount of coverage and a really nice glow.

Physician’s Formula Bronze Booster – Matte

First Impression: If you saw the video you might have noticed I was shocked and had a mini heart attack when I applied this for the first time. This product is so pigmented. I was not a fan of the color and it left it blotchy.

Update: I still am not a fan of the darkest shade, but I think its just color preference. Instead I’ve been using the middle shade to contour and bronze and it has nice finish, good pigmentation. Nothing harsh like the darker color.

Physician’s Formula Blush

First Impression: Loved it. Very pigmented, which kinda scared me. But overall a nice finish with a very soft glow.

Update: Still loving it. The only thing that because it is a true pink I find myself not reaching for it every single day. But not because the product is bad, it is just color preference. It so nice though and lasts all day.

Maybelline The Blushed Nudes Palette

First Impression: I thought it was nice range of colors. Nearly no fall out. It was good. Nothing extraordinary.

Update: I really liked the fact that it didn’t crease. I had to layer quite a bit to get the pigmentation I wanted, but for the price. I think it was a good buy.

Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara

First Impression: It was good. It separated my lashes and it didn’t leave them hard.

Update: Nooooooo! I don’t like it! It clumps up so much. It dried out by the third use and smudged even though I was using waterproof. I also had racoon eyes by the middle of the day. So, sorry not sorry.

Soap & Glory Archery 2 in 1

First Impression: So I was really excited about this product. However, I didn’t like it. It was too much like a gel/balm and it didn’t have any pigmentation. Ended up using a dark powder with my Anastasia Beverly Hills Duo Brow Brush to finish filling in my brows.

Update: Still not a fan. I tried using it a few times more, and I like it a tiny bit more. Might try a darker shade and see if that is a better fit.

Essense Make Me Brow

This was not the first time using this brow product. Its cheap, its pigmented. I like it! 🙂

There you guys have it! I hope you guys enjoy it! And let me know if you’re a fan of any of these product or if you chose to try them out!

Until next time…
